Locus Chain is pursuing a future of true decentralization and a lightweight, high-speed distributed network. Building on our successful validation of large-scale transaction and traffic processing in previous tests, the v2 Testnet introduces a refined core architecture designed to maximize Security, Scalability, and Stability.

The primary goal of this phase is to verify the effectiveness of our advanced core features:

• Dynamic Shard Protection: We have exponentially enhanced shard security through the 'Sub-epoch Eviction' process, which enables rapid node reshuffling and hardened defensive capabilities.
• High-Speed Communication: Utilization of the patent-pending 'Patricia Hypercube' topology and an enhanced Gossip algorithm to ensure zero-latency communication across large-scale networks.
• Enhanced Security Architecture: Implementation of Post-quantum cryptography (PQC) communication channels and Ring Signatures to protect committee privacy and data integrity.
• Fair Governance: A VRF-based committee selection system that ensures fair participation and incentives, eliminating minimum stake requirements for a more meritocratic ecosystem.
• VME & Asset Utility Expansion: Support for high-efficiency asset management through standardized Multi-token transfers (msg.tokens) and the native creation of AssetObjects with integrated metadata.

This testnet is intended to operate indefinitely without a fixed period. However, node operations may be temporarily suspended or restarted for technical verification purposes. As development is ongoing, we will continue to improve performance through consistent updates.
